Every year we celebrate World Mental Health Day on October 10. The theme of the celebration in this year is ‘The Mental Health is a Universal Human Right’. The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support of mental health.As part of The World Mental Health Day, Pallotti Hill Public School conducted a session on the Importance of mental health. The resource person of the session was the renowned Child Rights Activist Mr.Sibi Jose. The program was organized by the English Club under the leadership of Miss Seema KP, the teacher in charge of the club. It was conducted in the school auditorium.The master of ceremony was Miss Vyga A of grade 9.The event started with a silent prayer. Miss Jemy Janil, a student of grade 9, delivered the welcome address. The Resource Person was introduced by Miss Sreedevi R N of grade 9. After the session , our Vice Principal Miss Seby Sebastian honoured the resource person Mr. Sibi Jose with a memento. The event came to an end with the vote of thanks proposed by Heyn Maria Antony of grade 9.
